Frequently Asked Questions

Will I get free time?

Yes, in between our daily activities and the two days outside of the retreat schedule.

Will we leave the hotel?

You can plan trips separately but we will remain in the private hotel space for the duration of the retreat.

Do I book my own flights?

Yes. Once booked please let us know so we can arrange your transfer collection.

Where do I fly to?

Flights to Jamaica arrive at Sangster International  (MBJ) in Montego Bay and Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston (KIN). Both airports are approximately 2 hours from Jamaica Inn.

Will I need to get my own travel insurance?

Yes as standard when travelling abroad.

Can I get a transfer from the airport to and from the hotel?

Yes, this is included in your retreat package, just let us know your flight details in advance.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes, participants can come earlier or stay longer. This would simply be their responsibility to arrange. 

Jamaica provides visa-free entry for all American citizens. American citizens can stay up to 30 days without a business visa and 180 days without a tourist visa.

British nationals also do not need a visa to visit Jamaica. Visitors are usually granted entry for a maximum of 90 days.

Will I need a PCR test or to be vaccinated?

Currently no vaccination or PCR test is required for entry to Jamaica.

Will I need suncream and mozzy repellant?

Yes, it can get quite hot and is very sunny during the day, please bring suncreams, mosquito repellant, a sun hat and anything else you feel may be required.

Are children allowed?

Children over 10 are welcome at the hotel but can not attend the retreat with you. The hotel also does not have entertainment for children or a kids club.

We recommend that you enjoy this as an adults only experience to get the best out of your time away.

Can I bring my partner?

Yes you can bring your partner, they would just have to pay for their own all-inclusive meal plan. Let us know and we can arrange that for you.

Is cannabis sold at the hotel?

No. We do not recommend you purchase or use it during your stay.

What will the weather be like?

Hot man! :)

Although part of the rainy season, July is actually the hottest month in Jamaica with a maximum temperature of 32°C (91°F). Rain is usually warm and passes quickly.

What food is available?

Choose from a full menu of traditional Jamaican favourites and local delights. Greet the day at the Sea Shanty Restaurant overlooking the bay or in the convenience of the private verandah of your suite.

We want you to relax and enjoy your experience so all food and drink is included. Drinks are by the glass. Bottles of wine, spirits and champagne are extra.

Cancellation Policy

- All deposits are non-refundable.

- If a participant cancels prior to 28th March 2023 they will get an 80% refund.

- Refunds are not available if participants cancel after 1st May 2023.

- In the event of requiring a refund, this will be  processed within 28 working days from receipt of written notice via email (this can be sent to bliss@faada.co.uk).

- If POWELLNESS must cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be given a full refund within 28 working days of issuing notice of cancellation.
